Mukilteo Seafood Wok

















Mukilteo Seafood Wok

Ingredients:
8 large prawns
12 clams and or mussels
1 piece of your favorite white fish
1 bottle Mike's hard lemonade
1 can beer
1/2 stick butter
2 tbs salt
1 banana (sliced)
1-lemon (sliced-use only 2 slices)
1/4 cup crushed garlic
1-wok or large metal pot
1/4 cup diced basil (if not fresh, 1/8 cup)
1-firm mango



Action:
Add all above ingredients to pot or wok.
Cook on medium high until clams open.
Remove seafood with a strainer spoon device.
Place in large serving dish.
Squeeze lemon on top
Drizzle about 1/2 cup of cooking juice (get lots of garlic and basil with it)
Melt 1/2 stick butter and mix with 2tbs. crushed garlic.
*(squeeze lemon to taste)


Pairing:
Your favorite lager beer
Chardonnay or white wine of your liking.
Chilled mango (sliced)


Eating:
We like to dip each bite into the butter and then enjoy a slice
of that banana .
We like to listen to Morcheeba, Zero-7 types of cool music.

Apple Forest Pork Chops

















APPLE FOREST PORK CHOPS


Soak porkcops in brine 4hrs.
Brine:
1 quart. apple juice, 1cup lemon juice, 1cup crushed garlic, 1/8 cup jalapeno juice.
Dry them off
Puncture with a fork 20ish times ea. side
Sprinkle with jalapeño juice
Dip in melted butter
Grill over apple wood (or add chips if gas grill)
Glaze with canned apple pie filling


Pairing:

Almond rice pilaf
1 cup cooked wild rice
1/4 cup diced almonds
Sauté in butter and 1/8 cup apple pie filling

Broccolini sautéed in butter

Beverage:
I suggest a buttery chardonnay served at fridge temperature.


Dessert:
Take frozen honeydew melon- 1 cup
1/8 cup ripe pear
Blenderize
drizzle apple pie filling/syrup
a little nutmeg

Meatloaf Recipe















Meatloaf Azure


1 lb ground pork

1 lb ground turkey

1/8 lb ling cod or other flakey white fish

1 cup smoked oysters (dice them)

1 cup diced golden delicious apple

2 egg whites

1/2 cup diced almonds

1 cup crumbled water cracker

1/4 cup white onion diced

1/8 cup crushed garlic

1/4 cup canned or fresh diced white mushrooms

1/4 cup cooked wild rice

2 tbs kosher salt

1/8 cup diced radish

1/8 cup diced fresh parsley

1tsp fennel

1/8 cup sweet Saki or desert wine

Mix all ingredients.

Pre heat oven to 350 degrees

Place in bread pan, glass or metal

Cook until pink is gone.

*core temp 160 degrees

15 min before removing from put 1/2 cup grated mozzarella on top.


Pairing:

Greenish sliced pear or Honeydew

Steamed broccoli with a drizzle of white vinegar

Serve with a cold lager or a medium white wine.

Ideal: Fosters (very cold) or St.Michelle Chardonnay
